Christmas Tree Snack Board

Christmas Tree Snack Board

  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounces mozzarella or pepper jack cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups green grapes, washed and dried
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, washed and dried
  • 4 ounces turkey pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup pitted green olives
  • 1 starfruit, sliced, or a thick slice of cheese cut into a star shape
  • 10 to 12 pretzel sticks
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Choose a large rectangular or oval wooden board or a flat platter. Ensure it is clean and dry before you begin. Place your star shaped cheese or starfruit slice at the very top center of the board to act as your guide for the tree peak.
  2. Starting just below the star, create a small row of green grapes. This forms the top of the triangle. Below the grapes, create a slightly wider row using the cubed cheddar cheese. Continue building outward in a triangle shape to mimic the silhouette of a pine tree.
  3. Add a row of turkey pepperoni slices, followed by a row of broccoli florets. Continue alternating with the mozzarella cubes, cherry tomatoes, and green olives. Make sure each subsequent row is wider than the one above it to maintain that classic Christmas tree shape.
  4. At the bottom center of the widest row, bundle your pretzel sticks together to create a sturdy tree trunk. If you have extra ingredients, you can scatter a few “ornaments” like a stray tomato or grape on top of the cheese rows for added depth.
  5. Tuck small sprigs of fresh rosemary between the rows. The rosemary acts like evergreen needles, adding a wonderful holiday aroma and a professional touch to the final presentation. Serve immediately or cover and chill until guests arrive.
